This Human Decoy Receptor 3 (TNFRSF6B) ELISA Kit from Innovative Research is intended for quantitative detection of human DCR3 in cell culture supernates, cell lysates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests.

This human DCR3 ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from mouse specific for DCR3 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(sf21, V24 - H300) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for DCR3 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the human DCR3 amount of sample captured in plate.

Additional Information: The capture antibody is a polyclonal antibody from goat, the detection antibody is a biotinylated polyclonal antibody from goat. Expression system for standard: Decoy receptor 3 (Dcr3), also known as tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 6B (TNFRSF6B), TR6 and M68, is a soluble protein of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily which inhibits Fas ligand-inducedapoptosis. This gene belongs to the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. It acts as a decoy receptor that competes with death receptors for ligand binding. The encoded protein is postulated to play a regulatory role in suppressing FasL- and LIGHT-mediated cell death and T cell activation as well as to induce angiogenesis via neutralization of TL1A. Overexpression of this gene has been noted in various tumors e.g. gastrointestinal tract tumors, and it is located in a gene-rich cluster on chromosome 20, with other potentially tumor-related genes.; Immunogen sequence: 369
