Key facts

Human Protein C Activated Purified GLA Domainless from Innovative Research has been prepared from Human Activated Protein C Purified using Cathepsin G to remove the gamma-carboxyglutamic acid region, followed by affinity chromatography to purify out the Cathepsin G. This is a frozen liquid buffered in 20 mM Tris-HCl/ 0.1 M NaCl/ pH 7.4,. Also known as Factor XIV, Protein C is a zymogen that, when activated, helps to regulate anticoagulation, inflammation, and more. Key to this process is the ability of Activated Protein C (in conjunction with cofactors) to inactivate Factor Va and Factor VIIIa. Protein C is activated by Thrombin, and can be down-regulated by reduction in EPCR and/or thrombomodulin (either of which can be triggered by inflammatory cytokines) and may be up-regulated by Platelet Factor 4. Protein C is inhibited by Protein C Inhibitor. More Details: Source: Human Plasma Purification: Prepared from Human Activated Protein C Purified using Cathepsin G, which was removed after digestion using affinity chromatography. Storage Conditions: -60░ to -80░C At Innovative Research, we provide reliable, consistent products that deliver reliable, consistent results. Please note ¢ this product replaces our old product number IRAPCGD (same product, new number).
